A therapeutic, firm massage targeting specific areas of tension throughout the body relaxing soft tissue, tense muscles and releasing toxins. Through manipulation of the muscles, deep tissue releases entrapped nerves restoring the body’s natural flow of energy.

Aromatherapy

The use of a Balance Bodyworks essential oil or custom blend combined with a blend of Swedish techniques will intensify your massage experience. Clients can choose from the following blends: relaxation, muscle tension reliever or energizing. Custom blends can be created upon request.

Hot Ocean Stone Massage

Take your massage to the next level with an Ocean Stone Massage. Smooth, rounded basalt stones are heated and incorporated into your massage. The therapist uses the stones as an extension of her hands for a truly relaxing and therapeutic experience. In addition to the increased feeling of relaxation, the heat of the stones deeply penetrates the muscles resulting in a deep massage without the use of a great deal of pressure. You'll feel the benefits of this massage days after your treatment.

Rehabilitative

Did you know that you can get a prescription for medical massage? Doctors can write prescriptions for medical massage to treat injuries and chronic areas of pain. Balance Bodyworks can provide rehabilitative massage to restore your body. The therapist will use specific massage techniques in the affected areas designed to address neuromuscular issues, reduce pain and restore range of motion.
